Toiletries Collections for a Fresh Start - Helping Those in Need
The Fellowship of Empowered Goal Achievers is working in conjunction with S.O.U.L -Source of Universal Love in collecting hotel samples of toiletries and other toiletry items for individuals who find themselves in need of the bare essentials.
S.O.U.L., a 501(C) non-profit organization serves individuals that find themselves in transitions in life...transitions that may include not being able to provide for themselves and their families. They assist the homeless, the grieving, people choosing to leave abusive situations, those re-establishing their lives after divorce or illness. S.O.U.L. serves all who are in genuine need doing so through compassion, dedication, integrity and respect.
The Fellowship is now collecting hotel samples of toiletries that can mean so much to someone trying to meet their basic needs in a time of transition. Government assistance will cover food costs and shelter costs but does not cover paper products and personal needs materials. We are asking everyone who feels so inspired to donate any hotel toiletries they may have collected over their travels or if you are going out of town bring home the toiletries and donate them. They are perfect for packages that S.O.U.L. creates to present to those seeking assistance. The packages help those in need to maintain a sense of dignity by assisting them to keep up their appearances during a difficult time. Full size products are also welcome.
We are also accepting donations of old used cell phones and empty ink cartridges. S.O.U.L. which operates independent of government funding uses these items to raise money to provide other needed items that those in transition may not get through government assistance.
You may drop off your donations at the LightWorks Offices in Farmington. Please call in advance to let us know you are coming. LightWorks office phone number is 248-702-7064. We will be taking in collections on Sundays between 3pm and 6pm. Or you may call in advance and make arrangements for your drop-off at another time.
